About Alpha International Movers
A long, rich history
Founded in 1976 by Carl Van Buskirk in Little Falls, NJ, Alpha International Movers, Inc. sought to become a moving company that cared about the client as much as it did about the belongings being moved.
Carl gathered a small crew that he knew were as committed to excellent customer service as he was. With an initial focus on international moving jobs and logistics in and around the New York Metro area, word quickly spread and they developed a stellar reputation across the NY/NJ/PA area. Matthew Van Buskirk, Carl’s son, joined the company full-time in the mid 90’s to help with the growing business.
In 2001, Carl moved the business to Pennsylvania, establishing a 12,000 square foot warehouse in Monroe County and the business continued to thrive. Matthew and Carl expanded the international moving business to include local & interstate moving to cater to residential clients that were relocating to the Poconos and Lehigh Valley Areas.
Following the passing of his father in 2006, Matthew Van Buskirk and his wife, Marcelyn have continued owning & managing the business and continuing Carl’s legacy of honest, personalized customer service.
